Hello and welcome! If you’ve somehow stumbled onto this corner of the internet, you’re very welcome indeed.

This blog is basically where I get to talk shop. I’ll be sharing bits and pieces about how I write, what I’m working on, and how various projects are progressing (sometimes smoothly, sometimes… less so). You’ll also get news about upcoming books, cover reveals, and the occasional behind-the-scenes peek at what goes into making these stories.

One of my favourite parts of writing historical horror is the research rabbit holes. You start looking up one thing and suddenly it’s three hours later and you’ve learned something wildly unexpected. For example, accused witches in England were hanged — not burned — which always surprises people and says a lot about how myths grow over time. I’ll be dropping in odd little facts like that whenever I find them.

I’ll also share snippets, talk about characters, and occasionally ramble about themes and ideas that won’t fit anywhere else.

Oh, and I’ll be shamelessly plugging my newsletter too — because that’s where I send out exclusive updates, early news, and the stuff I don’t always post publicly.
